In the past two months, I have been to 3 plays, 1 ballet, a Pampered Chef party, a Jewish arts Festival, a Gallery Stroll, two Shabbat dinners, a male strip show and a trip to Las Vegas. It’s no wonder that I am thoroughly exhausted.

Headed up to the Park City Arts Festival today. Beautiful day. Not too hot, though the sun could bake anything resting in its path. I got there relatively early, before the crowds. I've culled 70 books from my keeper shelves in the past two days. I made some tough choices, getting rid of series that I like a lot and will continue to read but that I don’t pick up again to reread. I realized, not for the first time, that I use my journal as a diary. I tried keeping a diary many times when I was a child. The closet I ever really came was the the journal I started in college.
